I am cycling from Birmingham to Leamington Spa as both a personal challenge but also to raise money for the Birmingham Crisis Centre, which provides support, advice, a helpline, refuge and a base for any women and their children who are victims of domestic violence to create a better life.

On the 10th October 2009 I will setting out at 7am along the Grand Union Canal and pedalling my little legs off until I reach The Cape of Good Hope, a pub in Leamington Spa a distance of some 27 - 30 miles.

This is the first charity cycle I have undertaken and hopefully not my last!
