Yesterday I got up and thought I would read at Poetry Bites. I have been going to poetry bites for a while but never read despite on occassions saying to myself I would. Why I decided yesterday I do not know.

I say decided, although there was still an element of maybe - a tiny percentage holding back the balance and I still had the option of changing my mind. I decided to counter it.

I shot off an email to a friend who replied with a kick I needed having quoted something I had in turn said to her in encouragement.
